MNL Progress Report #1

Hey there, nudies! Brad here with a new segment! For these weeks where we just have our noses to the grindstone and don't have anything real visual to show you, I'm just gonna give a little verbal report on what we've been doing.

So, first major milestone since the game's reveal, and done by none other than yours truly! The prologue script is complete! It took many, MANY rewrites to get it juuust right, but all of the dialogue that you'll be reading (and maybe even hearing!) has been finalized and is ready to be put straight into the game itself! Clocking in at 55 pages and 8,000+ words, this prologue is gonna be a juicy piece of sexy storytelling! This doesn't even cover the bonus environmental stuff that you can have Amber comment on! Between her conversations with other people, the dialogue choices you can choose from and the random things you can have her comment on, Amber's gonna have a lot to say in this prologue! We took great care to make her a fun, lovable protagonist whether her clothes are on or off. I seriously can't wait to share more!

With that out of the way, I've moved on to help Leslie and Jaguar with designing the layout of Culo Culo. We're leaning heavy into the beach town aesthetic, so now it's a matter of figuring out where all the major locations are going to be in relation to each other. Nalem is currently working on storyboards for some of the cutscenes in-game, as well as helping frame out some of Amber's animations. Amber's 3D model is tantalizing close to completion, and we're hoping we can do a big reveal of that within the next week or two. We've also brought on an extra hire who has helped spreadhead some more progress on the game's coding as well, putting together a working title screen and loading screen. Everything's moving incredibly fast and super smooth!
