Why doesn’t Lecter chow down on a single person in this “bigger and better” sequel? Couldn’t they have found anyone more appropriate to direct the film? And why not give us a little more with these Sardinian pig guys? PLUS: Mason Verger, huge Deadhead!
Hannibal stars Anthony Hopkins, Julianne Moore, Gary Oldman, Frankie Faison, Giancarlo Giannini, Zeljko Ivan, and the late, great Ray Liotta as Paul Krendler; directed by Ridley Scott.

While Verger is demonstrating auto-erotic asphyxiation, Lecter breaks his neck while he's still in the noose, paralyzing him. The movie shows this scene in a flashback with Gary Oldman.
