On this edition of our Lifetime movie chat show, we're talking about the outrageous, nearly Vivica A. Fox-less thriller, The Wrong Roommate!
This wild movie, from A Talking Cat!?! auteur David DeCoteau, features Vivica A. Fox as a detective cold on the trail, a handsome stud who may be interested in teenage girls, Eric Roberts as a maybe art history professor, and some of the funniest scorpion paintings you've ever seen in your life!
The Wrong Roommate stars Jessica Morris, Jason-Shane Scott, Dominique Swain, Vivica A. Fox, William McNamara, Brianna Joy Chomer, and Eric Roberts as Floyd; directed by David DeCoteau.
Once In A Lifetime is a bi-monthly (every-other month) WHM podcast where the gang watches some outrageous Lifetime movies and attempts to sift through the madness within.

Chris's comment about the expanded universe reminded me: "Stalked By My Doctor 4: A Sleepwalker's Nightmare" actually *does* establish a Lifetime Cinematic Universe. Its main character was also in "Sleepwalking in Suburbia" and references the events of that movie.
Yes, it turns out that even Lifetime is better at establishing a cinematic universe than DC.

the biggest food crime I've seen was someone making a perfectly decent and cheesy mac and cheese, and deciding it needed RAISINS

Still hoping to see Eric Roberts cast as the dark prince himself someday.
Who wouldn't want to see a Hawaii shirt-wearing tanned devil?

Hereβs the Vanity Fair interview with him (on the set of Stalked by my Doctor 3).
But basically, he had a bad drug problem and got into a bad car accident that led him to have facial scars and he needed a lot of rehab. Between the two he really lost his career. Weirdly his stint on celebrity rehab helped him start getting back in things (and he also is married to a casting director) but he also realized that working constantly was good for him. He enjoys the craft of acting. Doesnβt particularly care what level it is at. Went back and forth between his role in The Dark Knight and Witless Protection. It keeps him sober and it sounds like he is repairing the relationship with his sister and daughter (that daughter is actress Emma Robertβs from the American Horror Story franchise).

My understanding is Eric Roberts is always working because he lost his kid over an addiction back in the day and he finds work helps him stay sober.
