The most impressive part of this movie for me is that they were only a year off on the cubs winning the world series

Just imagine doc brown leaving the birth of Christ date in the Time Machine before it was stuck by lightning

Did Mayor Red Thomas become homeless in1985?

There is biff jr in cartoon and he Was bully. And also i think tiff

I’ve seen this movie a hundred times and it wasn’t until the “Chris tannen” bit that I realized the bully gene must skip a generation. Grandma biff, skip, biff, skip (possibly Chris), griff.

I’m rewatching this as I type this and I’m glad I’m not going crazy. Really surprised this got the WLM treatment and that you guys dismiss part 3 as meh. This movie isn’t good. It’s got some good parts but it also has a lot of clunky exposition and weird character development only needed to justify itself and the sequel. Part three is a better movie

I would love to see you guys do BttF 3. Totally fine movie, fun.

Jarod

Wow!! I re-watched that scene after the WLM ep. And she became a real person after that; not just a throw-away. So sad to hear of her passing in that manner.

I had never heard about the stuntwoman being injured in the hoverboard scene so I looked into that story further. I found that while she was seriously injured she did recover and go on to do more stunts in big budget movies. In a surprising twist though she was killed in a shootout with her ex-husband on Feb 12. 2020

Omg. This episode is so good. I lost it at the diet soda part

Phoenix Art House

Primer is the one that's accurate though..

No riffs on all the 911 conspiracy theories in bttf ! Slightly disappointed but great episode regardless

Michael Beatty

Terrific episode. And thanks for coming to Nashville, guys! Tickets are bought!

There is an episode of Legends of Tomorrow where their is a world without George Lucas.

They were showing the trilogy back to back at my local cinema on the 21st October 2015 was a great evening

I also saw BTTF2 in theaters and remember the trailer for 3 before the end credits...can't remember if it originally had continued or concluded though

Darryl Bowen

Unpopular opinion... 3 is far better than 2.

J HEASLEY

Recommending Netflix's 'Dark'. It's a great German time travel show in which several characters get permanently stuck in the past.

Andrew Burt

Harry Potter does the other angle thing as well. There are events in the books/movies that happen that's later revealed to be a time traveled Harry/Hermione causing the events.

BttF 3 was actually my favorite of the sequels when I was younger. I didn't like the dark tone of the alternate 1985 and didn't understand a lot of the references to 80's culture in the future. The slower pace, Marty's growth, and the romance between Doc and the teacher really solidified it as my 2nd fav of the franchise. Would love a WLM covering it. I also agree that not everyone needs to worship the WLM catalogue for it to qualify. I actually look forward to Chris' critical evaluation of everyone's favorite movies. Can we finally get an X2 episode? It's literally been teased for years at this point.

DISCLAIMER: This comment in NO way regards this specific WHM post, I just want fans/listeners to suffer as I have: Meaning no disrespect to the myriad of other listeners that stay caught up (meaning, yes, I stupidly missed the deadline by ONE damn day, so please discount this LATE comment, I direct it towards other fans at this point), though viewing this suggested program can only be interpreted as disrespectful... ...I would like to suggest something truly heinous to the Animation Damnation segment (sadly not to the WHM gang this year), but I truly hope (and despair) that fans will be willing to view a marred gem of my childhood, by the title of, "Larryboy And The Fib From Outerspace", a staple in my fundamentalist household. VeggieTales was a "christian" series I grew up on as a kid. This particular episode, and a few that followed, I was too young to recognize as a rip-off of Batman, in any incarnation, not to mention other pop-referneces kids don't understand. Every episode, the entire VeggieTales canon, were repeatedly viewed in my home. These programs, when I re-evaluate them today, invoke a strong sense of nostalgia, though I AM able to see the underlying indoctrinatinion... however, I can't help but sing along to what is, in my opinion, the classic and catchy songs The WHM gang may not ever see this, but I hope someone, somewhere can relate to my struggle. (( P.S. Of course the full episode of Larryboy is available here on YouTube: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6lsG7GVJGG0 )))

I am definitely up for BTTF 3. That’s a fun movie.

Hands down my favorite movie of all time in my favorite trilogy of all time. Between the behind the scenes shenanigans and the movie itself, it's a wild ride. Still amazes me how they immaculately recreated part 1 at different angles and if played side by side, it syncs up for the most part.

Frank Grimes

I ate an edible on super bowl sunday and for some reason started thinking about BTTF3, and how I couldn't remember it well, and wondered if I actually saw it. So I decided I should watch it but then, being high, I then thought, "Wait. What about part 2?" "You haven't seen that in awhile." So long story short, I watched 2 at like 1 in the morning. So I'm glad for this episode.
