PLUS: How great is Harvey Fierstein?!

Haven't revisited this *mentary 'n in minute, one of my favorites! I loved this movie as a kid, thought it was abysmal as a young adult, and now i'm somewhere in the middle. It's a hell of a time, and y'all make it a hell-er of a time. about to have a legal tall glass of water and delve into some work with this as much-needed background. Thanks for all yas do, and don't forget to wear the blue! I can't wait for next year's Hooker ep! ... Eric!!

Fair enough too considering the colonial background of it. No fireworks but people usually will make an excuse to get on the turps and get drunk.

2019-07-04 20:42:21 +0000 UTCI loved this. ID4 was one of my family's first DVDs so I've seen this movie countless times. This was the best way to revisit it after 10+ years. Also heavily felt that running time by the end. Are we all agreed that Bill Pullman is basically a terrible president? No way he came up with that speech on the fly. Davidtellhim is probably mouthing the words just off camera like we see her do earlier in the movie.

When hydrogen, the smallest atom, with one electric and one proton, collides with another at high temperature, they fuse, forming the next bigger element. From there, every element ads one proton and one electronic. I am not a scientist, so this is based on high school understanding. Anyhow, it’s not exactly 1 for one. The combined weight of 2 proton forming together with 2 more, doesn’t make 4. Mass is lost. A small amount, added up over atoms, which are abundant, is a lot of energy released. Far less dangerous than the energy release by atomic energy, as far as radiation goes. All radiation is is the wave of energy coming off of an element. Sun light is radiation. Certain waves pass through us, and are dangerous. But hydrogen produce far more energy, than nuclear and is safer, apparently. We are building hydrogen reactors on earth, but we have yet to turn one on. I imagine it will change things. The math works, but? We will see. Its creation of larger element. Not the destruction of already big ones. Combustion is just carbons reaction with oxygen, requiring heat. Atoms are just mixed together, things are transformed. Not created or destroyed. Even when atoms are broken down, the break into smaller parts. Nothing is lost.
