Updates and Reward Changes

Hey patrons! If you're new, WELCOME! If you've been a part of our Community for awhile, thanks so much for your support!

This is a letter I'm sending to our newsletter, but I wanted you to see it first. It includes important information and changes to the Patreon rewards over the next few months. I will be updating the tier descriptions today as well to reflect changes.

I’ve been thinking a lot about Naked in Motion, what the business even is now, and what a future could look like for us. We’ve already made announcements on our Pandemic Status page about in-person classes, and recent increases in covid-19 cases and new data about the Delta variant have only solidified my decision to not pursue in-person classes for the time being. I think it’ll be right for us to re-open when everyone else does and cases stay low. (P.S. one thing you can do to contribute to a future of live Naked! Yoga classes is to get vaccinated!)

The mission of Naked in Motion has always been to make naked yoga, nudism, and yoga in general more accessible, inclusive, and welcoming for everyone, using nudity alongside yoga philosophy to develop a friendlier relationship with your body. It’s been harder to work towards our goals without holding space in person for that transformational experience, but I do think we can make progress in different ways online. Our Patreon page has a ton of content for folks to practice with, and I hope to introduce the healing work of Naked! yoga to even more people with my online Beginner’s Workshop.

I’ll be making a more formal video about this next week, but here’s our current plan:
Our Patreon will continue, except that for the time being, I’ll stop making new content, including Live-Stream classes. Instead, each month I’ll pull older material out of the library, so you’ll have full-classes, workshops, audio classes, video tutorials, and instructional photos to work on. The content will probably be new for you as our library is HUGE and you likely haven’t seen it all. Also, you can always re-watch my free classes on Youtube, although I’ll be pausing new ones for now.

I am going to continue to teach private clients via Patreon, as these are still fulfilling for me, and there is a possibility that I could teach privately in-person in the near future. Otherwise, I’ll be taking a step back from Naked in Motion to focus on my mental health. The isolated nature of my work during the pandemic has taken quite an emotional toll, and I need to figure out ways to reinvigorate my spirit. In particular, I’ll be doing some volunteer work to shift focus off of myself.

Then, my plan is to use the time away from Patreon to finish creating my online Beginner's Guide to Naked! Yoga Workshop. Pandemic aside, I’ve decided that I won’t re-build in-person classes until I have this project completed, as this is how I’ll be able to make Naked! yoga more accessible to people outside the nudist bubble. Then, if things are going better with covid, I’ll start figuring out how to have classes in-person again, which will take time, as I’ll be starting from scratch.

The best way to support us right now is to join (or stay on) our Patreon. It helps pay recurring fees that must be maintained to keep the business entities. It also helps to keep me personally financially afloat so that I can continue spending my time working on the mission of Naked in Motion. The sooner I can complete my workshop, the sooner I can return to live classes, and I can only make this all happen with your support through our Patreon page.

The perks will be proportional to the usual rewards:

- $5 tier will get access to archived audio classes and personal video updates from me

- $9 tier will also get the above, a Live-Stream class from the archives, plus I'll throw in a meditation class from the library

- $29 will get access to the above, a Live-Stream class and a Naked! Workshop from the library, plus archived Instructional photos and Video Tutorials, plus I’ll throw in an extra full class

I appreciate your patience, flexibility, and support as I take on new challenges during this increasingly upsetting time.

-Willow
