Comics setting

Your opinion is very important to me!
At the moment I'm writing a script for a new comic, and I need your help in choosing the right setting.
The fantasy setting is very popular, same as stories about the modern world, but a combination of these might push away some fans. Thus, I'd like to make a poll.
I have an idea to create my world, in which in addition to humans there equally live fantasy creatures, an interesting mix of different races and genders.
In this case, I could unite all my characters in one universe: Trisa, Miriele, Jessica Addams and Co, DFC, nuns, and demons. All they can live in the same world and interact.
Another option would be to separate these two settings. To create human stories in the modern world, and adventures about orcs and elves to draw in a fantasy setting (in mountains, forests, and medieval castles).
Possible answers:
1. I want to see orcs and elves in the modern world.
2. Orcs and elves should live ONLY in a fantasy world.
3. I don't care about the setting, the story just needs to be good.
