diesel 2022

diesel is a character of mine that has barely existed lol, but recently as I've been reviving oldies such as marty, diesel has kind of come back around as well and this time I'm kind of giving him more of an identity. prior to this, he was just a normal white ermine, but after drawing his older brother who is more or less the standard weasel, I wanted to make sure he's set apart from the others. after seeing some pics of weasels with their winter coat looking kinda splotchy, I thought it would be fun to implement this as a permanent characteristic.

his entire family has a permanent white coat, but diesel is an oddball, a blacksheep in a few ways, but most visibly right away is his "mask". leftover blotches of brown fur that grew in during adolescence and have just never gone away. he is teased for this just a bit.

believe it or not, diesel actually knows nothing about cars. his dad was quite the car nut, but diesel himself had no interest, and usually avoided the garage growing up... thankfully he can turn to his kind and helpful older brother if he ever needs help with this.
