Quick Question 30/10/2022
Added 2022-10-30 19:41:54 +0000 UTCDo you use moveset stance mods for Skysa or MCO?
Comments
I use Stances (with the add-on mod that actually gives it Nioh-like buffs and debuffs per stance) moreso to change my locomotion and idle animations tthan anything else. Do have some actual movesets activated by it though.

Also, this mod is a good example of one that does configure DAR animations with an MCM already: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/77017 Not jank at all, it just defines a bunch of integer global variables set to either 0 or 1 for on or off, and then checks them as necessary with "ValueEqualTo" in DAR conditions.

2022-10-31 17:51:55 +0000 UTCI assume you mean stances, like low, high or mid stance? I think I used something like that for CGO back in the day. As far as i know compatibility with MCO was rough for that sort of thing. If you mean general movesets, I always have one installed. I'm currently using JH combat animations converted to MCO and then anchors sword and shield animations cause they are the best I've used. Mikes base animations are polished and way better than Vanilla but are a little 1 dimensional. Would love the ability to swap DAR movesets via in a game MCM. I'm sure there is a way now but it's probably Jenk.

2022-10-31 13:21:57 +0000 UTCI have a lot of respect for moveset mods, and I'm glad they are there for the people that does like them. I just feel like the game isn't designed very well for elden ring or dark souls animation sets due to how close quarters a lot of dungeons are. They don't feel like they are designed for it very well. I like precision, dodge mods, as and animation mods like leviathan to give me more in depth combat.

2022-10-31 00:01:43 +0000 UTCI don't use em cos there arent enough good movesets, 90% of em are dark souls or anime shit and like 10% are interesting but even then they tend to just be based off video games which is understandable.
