Book of Creed Alpha (with Hidden Blade) coming tomorrow!

We have a name for the new assassin's creed themed mod now!

And the hidden blade itself looks absolutely fantastic thanks to model that I commissioned from Mila.

A few questions that I'm sure are going to pop up, answering them pre-emptively:

Q: Will this be equipped like a weapon or an armor?

A: Armor

Q: Is this script heavy?

A: There is not a single script as of the time of writing, everything is done through behaviour. If there are scripts added it'll probably be kept to a minimum or be for the MCM.

Q: What are your plans for the scope of this mod?

A: The plan is to add hidden blade assassinations by repurposing vanilla killmoves, similar to how the hidden blade works in AC games; you can use it in stealth and to initiate fights, but you cannot use it as an instant kill during fights.

Air assassinations will be attempted, but there are no guarantees for that part.

Apart from that I might add some AC features for the sake of flavor; things like distractions, crowd blending, marking, simple disguise, etc.

Overall am pretty excited to be working on this project, AC has been one of my favorite franchises and I will try to do it justice with this mod. Let me know if you have any suggestions!

Q: What happened to the Odyssey style Merc mod?

A: I am waiting for the animation movesets to be finished.

Q: When will this mod release?

A: Alpha release will be tomorrow, for my patrons that qualify (T2 and up). Beta for T1 will come when I get killmoves implemented, within the next week.

Update (GMT 22:06) : Sorry for the delay folks, Alpha release will be here within the next 24 hours or so, just some bugs to iron out to make it usable.
