Status Update

Hello everyone!

I hope all of you had a nice holiday season and are enjoying everything 2018 has offered you so far!

Since it's been a while, I wanted to give some updates on the status of Aego, and why there hasn't been any updates in a while.

As I may have mentioned previously, I did recently take on a new position at my company that will hopefully help me out with a lot of life stuff. It's more money, benefits, and flexibility, but it's definitely quite a bit more responsibility as well. I'm also in the payroll industry so everything gets really hectic when it comes down to the end of the year and the beginning of the next. It's been a particularly grueling one, with work going long hours into the nights, holidays, and weekends.

Because of that, I have been swamped with work and really unable to put the time that I'd like to into Aego. I have been doing lots of conceptualizing and writing, but getting everything into the program and coded is another matter. Essentially, if Aego were a jigsaw puzzle, I'd have more and more pieces being put on the table, but without the time to put them together yet.

Also, I am planning a big move across the United States within the next few months that has taken a toll on me stress wise, which isn't helping as well. I'll be moving from Orlando, Florida to Seattle, Washington here at the end of March, so it's looming very closely and I'm not sure if I'll ever be fully prepared, but I'm trying my best.

All that being said, I have no intentions of halting development despite the obstacles that are coming our way. I've got quite a bit of pride in this project and intend to stay with it until the end. We've also got some artwork and adjustments that are being worked on, so there is definitely stuff coming.

It seems like work has finally slowed down a little to give me some breathing room, so I'd like to have Quinn's update out by the end of the month. It's about 75% completed so I think I can finish out the rest in time. Then we will start to move forward toward the climax and completion of Episode 1.
