That’s right; no break for me, really, this time: this is just the only way I’ll ever get this thing done and it’ll still [hopefully] give me the chance to get my preconceptual stuff sorted for NTO #8.
It is a break in the sense that the art style’s a little different; NTO has left me decidedly rusty at inking and this is an opportunity to get reacquainted.
Apologies to you guys since this isn't something new, exactly -- you saw this first page in miniature ages ago. I wanted to keep this short off the NTO site for awhile, but as I said, I've been sitting on it forever without getting it done and this seemed like the best way. I hope you'll enjoy it, and assuming they don't get too spoilerish I'll try to share my sketches for NTO Book 8 with you when I can.
