Hey! Sorry for the delayed reply. If you have Premium and you feel it doesn't make a difference for you which one you watch, it's always going to be more helpful for the algorithm to see my public videos getting more views. And YouTube Premium actually pays more per view than views from non-Premium users. Premium pays out based on watch time, so content creators who make long videos (like most ASMR) benefit the most. Having said that, I like feeling that I'm offering patrons added value, so it's truly fine to watch the ad-free version if you prefer for any reason! Thank you for asking. :)

2023-09-02 00:24:40 +0000 UTCHey, if I have YouTube Premium, is it better for you if I watch the "ad" version, or does it not matter? I'm assuming the ad free videos aren't monetized, but not sure if that makes a difference. Probably pennies on the dollar compared to Patreon...
