Something Fun & Something Painful

Hey y’all! This is a link to an update video on the main channel, in which I talk about the direction of this channel and a sale I’m having in the shop (to help raise money for a little birthday adventure). Since I’m offering all viewers a discount code, I wanted to make sure I gave patrons something that’s at least a little bit better, so if you’d like to make any purchases:

You can use code PATRON30 to get 30% off all postcards, pins, and jewelry. (This code is for patrons only.)

Or, you can use code BDAYSALE10 for 10% off stickers, hats, hoodies, and tees. (This one is available to everyone, and I don't know if the two codes can be combined, sorry!)

I hope you're all well, and I'll see you in the next video!

Love,
JB

Super late response on this, but I've been percolating on similar topics in my own life and how mentally/emotionally difficult it is to recognize your own limits and when you need to shift/pivot to better accommodate other goals and priorities. My friend recommended that I check out the book "Laziness Does Not Exist" and it's been a great way to reframe how I view hitting my own energy limits

Hey JB I'm a little late in replying to this one I know. I replied on YouTube but I don't think my reply conveyed what I was trying to say. So I'll try again here. I think many if not all of us can relate to what you're experiencing. While I know what you're feeling, the circumstances by which I came to the same realizations we're very different. I don't know if there is any advice I could give you that would help. So I'll say this. I believe your heart is in the right place. While you may have the dream of having a large channel with a million subscribers, I've never felt that it's the reason you make videos. I have that dream for you too. The pride and passion with which you produce your content is obvious. I whish more people could see that and come to love you as we your fans already have. If I have any advice It would come in the form of a suggestion. A while back I was watching a live Q&A with another of my favorite ASMR artists, ASMR Glow. You remind me a lot of each other. You are both very creative and your personalities shine through even in your role plays. She was asked why she doesn't do as many RP's as she used too. She replied that those videos don't get the views for the work it takes to produce them. Instead more of her videos are what I would call "bread and butter ASMR". No RP per say. Just her, 2 mic's and basic triggers. For example, up close whispering, tapping, mic scratching, hand movements ect.. The videos are still high quality, just quicker and easier to produce. Perhaps the basic triggers help to draw in a larger audience. Like her, I think the same would be true for you. They would come for the ASMR and stay for the person. Whichever direction you decide to take your channel, please do keep the otoscope videos coming. Good lord woman you do that better than anyone! Whatever you decide I'll be right here to support you in any way I can. You're already a superstar in my eyes.

B Love
