Quick Note About Ads - I'm Sorry

I just wanted to let all my patrons know that I've been made aware that YouTube has added ads to at least one of my "ad-free" videos. I've heard that YT has been doing this to a lot of other non-monetized channels for a little while now, but this is the first time I'm aware of it happening on my JBG Ad-Free channel. I haven't been feeling well for a few days now, so I appreciate your patience on this while I try to figure out the problem and what I can do about it. I'm not sure how long it might take to sort out. In the meantime, please feel free to notify me if you see ads popping up on any of the other videos on my ad-free channel, so I can keep track of which ones need to be addressed.

Honestly, the YouTube subscription is pretty okay! I've had it for ages, and while the premium content does nothing to entice me, having ad-free videos, plus getting YouTube Music with it, is great.

2021-11-18 16:11:54 +0000 UTCUgh. YouTube’s ads are getting worse and worse. I hate that it’s the only way to get access to so many of my favorite creators. (For some reason even though I’m fine paying for other streaming services, I balk at the idea of paying for YouTube but I might have to get over it.)
