i was definitely thinking that airi got cut for being way too talented this whole time like unfortunately that can throw off a group dynamic just as much as someone who can’t keep up. like with these asian groups its really all about group synergy so if u have a beyonce, it just won’t work bc they will stick out too much. in the long run it creates issues for the companies and even most kpop labels have to hold back really talented/popular members to avoid things like more demands etc etc. it sucks so bad though bc it’s really not anything she did and i don’t blame her if she ended up not wanting to stay in the label after that. 😭😭

2025-05-30 08:33:07 +0000 UTCi agree their music def got better! although if im not mistaken a lot of the music they're releasing right now was still prepped from 2019-2020, I know chancellor (one of their producers with siimon) said that they have a backlog of unreleased music still from back in 2019 just like is this love which just got released during this mini album :) i know simon said he planned the whole timeline of how/when they were gonna be released

Since she older than them she could afford to wait and went solo by herself as an independent artist. She did an interview on YouTube where she talked about XG. I think they stay in contact and she loves them still!
