I love both shows in different ways. It's the difference between an anime that's based on a 4-Koma manga series and something with several light novels. KyoAni had far more source material to get their teeth into. But conversely it meant Cloverworks had a little more freedom adapting Bocchi with the extra blanks they could fill in to their own tastes.
