So I wanted to post this video up earlier to day but it took forever to load! First it was blocked on YouTube and then it was just like hours before it was done processing onto Patreon. But it's finally here!
It's the first episode of Game Caterers x HYBE broken down into three YouTube videos. So it's a super long reaction!
Hope you have fun watching us watch them play games. It makes it so much more fun knowing them as artists now that we've reacted to a handful of their MV's. I think it makes following them so much more exciting.
Back when I first watched this series I had only known a few TXT songs. I hadn't listened to any of the other bands at all. And I hadn't seen "Alchemy of Souls" yet (the drama that Hwang Min-hyun is in). But now that I've gotten deeper into that k-drama/k-pop world, it just makes these shows so much more enjoyable!
We'll finish up this series and then swing back around to more Run BTS! and/or start Going Seventeen. There's also the Game Caterers x SEVENTEEN episode too which we might do.
There's just so much content out there and I'm ready to binge like crazy. It's really hard not to watch things but I'll wait til Allison gets back!

2023-06-26 05:17:48 +0000 UTCGoing SEVENTEEN is just a study in Chaos. I adore it, but you know how insane it is trying to subtitle for 7 with Run BTS. Imagine doing that for 13. I have seen episodes where the editor just gave up and titled like "Talking over each other" I'm really looking forward to the next episodes of Game Caterers too. I never actually watched the whole thing, only the clips in other compilations. It is such a good time.

2023-06-26 05:15:57 +0000 UTCoh no, don't feel bad 😊 it's okay, honestly. And as far as recommendations go, personally, I think they have one of the best discographies when it comes to ggs. My favorites though are the songs they released in their early debut days such as DKDK, Love Bomb, and To Heart and Glass Shoes. But ofc their newer stuff is really good too. They have AMAZING b-sides as well.

I feel bad that we did this entire run of all those bands and kind of skipped them ... smh. I didn't know they came from a survival show. I kind of love the camaraderie that they have. Do you have any recs on which songs of theirs we should check out? Thanks in advance!

2023-06-25 18:55:54 +0000 UTCI LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Korean Variety shows!! It's so frickin entertaining, I haven't been able to turn back to American television shows. I just love watching them play games! I'm excited to watch Run BTS and Going Seventeen for the channel. Obviously, I've seen all of Run BTS but it'll be fun watching it with Allison. But Going Seventeen is going to be all new and I'm just excited for that. I love new stuff. I love to laugh. It's going to be great!!

I would LOVE if they did another episode with some of the other bands too. I love NewJeans and have seen lots of promos for &Team and BoyNextDoor - I kind of want to see about if we should watch some of their MV's. I think they're considered 5th gen? If so, we might do a 5th Gen run. YG has BABYMONSTER coming too so it'd be cool to check out who's coming up. Anyways - I love that they did the team picnic and games and all. It's so much fun to watch!

It's very cool that they did this. I kind of wish BTS and NewJeans were there though - it's a lot of people and busy schedules!

They often get overlooked by ppl when they're checking out all the artists under Hybe but they are such sweet and talented girls. I've been following them since Idol School (the survival show that they were formed on back in 2017) and they've since become one of my all time favorite girl groups. Their songs are catchy, they're all naturally funny (definitely check out Channel 9) and they just have such amazing chemistry. They're just so lovely lol

They have a new single #menow that has been stuck in my head the last few weeks. I hope HYBE will do something like this again, since they have 3 more groups now (NewJeans, &Team and BoyNextDoor).
