Place Holder Post
Added 2016-09-01 06:27:14 +0000 UTCFirst and foremost, thanks everyone for the positive feedback yesterday (earlier this morning? Time gets funny for me towards the end of each month). I want to clear up something that may have been confusing;
There WILL be a video this month, as you can see the sword is practically finished, it's just that instead of being out on Thursday like I had hoped it would be, it will be released Saturday or there abouts.
Thank you everyone saying "Don't rush it etc", but to tell the truth I quite like the one month deadline, keeps me honest. You know how an "anti-hero" is a brigand type guy who by accident keeps giving in to the better angels of his nature? I'm like that with work, an "anti-factotum", I would self describe as a lazy person, but all my life I've always managed to wind up making complicated things with my hands despite my best efforts.
Also lastly, and most importantly, a number of my higher level backers contacted me to say they'd like me to make a "place holder" post. The ones who've asked me to do this have set "monthly limits", so a few of them are worried that if I do manage to upload another build video before the end of September, I wouldn't get paid for both because of all the other stuff they back here on Patreon.
I will NOT be making a habit of this, the only reason I'm doing it in this case is because the sword is so close to completed (if you folks remember, I missed a month with the Soul Reaver last year, but that sword was nowhere near as completed as this one is) .
