An important update.

So my computer imploded.

Yeah.

Tuesday afternoon, as I was finishing some stuff up and getting ready to do the ask pile (and about two hours after I paid my damn internet bill, go figure) my laptop went on the fritz. It won’t boot, now, except very rarely where it boots for about two seconds and then flickers and goes white. I can’t get it fixed, and it would cost me more than it’s worth to get it repaired, which means I’ve lost...almost everything.

The episodes. The screenshots. The saved asks. The saved fanart. All my personal stuff--games, files, everything is gone. I can officially no longer screw around with scraps trying to build myself a rig on budget; I need to replace the computer, immediately.

The upside to all this is that my stepdad is willing to help; I’ve been looking around at local stores and there’s a $400 rig that should work just fine, especially once I slot in the fancy video card my uncle sent me. I had considered asking for donations, but he and I have come to an arrangement where he’s going to help me get established long-term and I’m pretty happy with how that’s going to play out.

The downside is that I’m going to be offline and unable to do anything for you guys until I get my computer replaced. I’ll be going stir-crazy in my room with nothing to do but play video games in the meantime. I’m gonna get this fixed as soon as possible, and then we’ll be back on track.
