If both people are equally at fault for a decision, it's irrational to then shift the anger toward the male as though it's all on him. There were similar reactions to Tony's stalemate on the new episode. I'm neither a man nor a 'stan' of either guy, but I'm rational enough to see the double standard (likely coming from those who have a dislike for strong men). Avery and Tony both had justifiable reasons for their decisions, and Tony ultimately paid the price for their stubbornness.

The way Avery reacted and handled it made me like her less. 'I'll never let a man tell me what to do,' when in reality Tony's privates had nothing to do with her decision. 🤦🏽♀️

2024-08-31 15:44:33 +0000 UTCQ: Why did Tony make that dumb decision? A: Hubris, my friends. Tony's ego has gotten in his way a few times. He does well, then starts to feel himself a little too much, and then makes boneheaded decisions. He might have physical strengths, eating strengths, etc.; however, he's playing checkers when this is chess... and he seems to not know the difference. He's hardheaded and impulsive when he needs to be flexible and calculated. Sorry to tell yas, but it ain't Tony Time and, until he learns some very important lessons, it won't be. The competition is fierce.
