The Power of Names
Added 2025-01-13 11:34:20 +0000 UTCAdd EPIC titles to your D&D characters and with that Great Power!
There is power in a name, and with this new little system, you can represent this concept in your games.
This system introduces the concept of awarding your players custom titles that they can earn as they level up throughout their adventuring journey.
I have included a whole table too that links players levels to their notoriety levels so you can have a better sense of how famous your players should be in the world xD
Along with this I have added 5 categories to be added to your epic titles. Each levelling milestone will expand on these titles, till eventually you are called something like:
The Unkillable Berseker of Damned Blood

2025-01-15 15:46:11 +0000 UTCI was in a campaign where the bbeg had coffins made for each of the PCs in an attempt to intimidate us. Jokes on him, my character collected the name tags and dutifully handed them to the other characters as we entered the final boss chamber. Irl we affixed "hello my name is..." tags with our character names so the bbeg didn't have to guess which one was beating him down.
