LIVE WIP of Runecrafting Mechanics

I want your help deciding on what runes to add!

Below is a link to see my work so far on the runecrafting mechanics. If you catch me at the right time you might also see me making changes LIVE!

But more than anything, I would love to hear YOUR suggestions for runes that you want to see here in the Runecrafting branch of the crafting skill tree.

Keep in mind, these will be the BASE runes, but at later levels you will learn how to infuse spells into runes, to set them up for detonation, and even how to turn any runes you know, into tattoos.

Rune of the Long Rest Creatures killed by a weapon marked with this rune cannot become undead for 7 days after their death. Damage this weapon deals is increased by 2 against undead creatures

Rune of Repair Items with this rune gradually repair themselves when damaged but not after being destroyed. Rune of Vigor People wielding a item or wearing armor or clothing inscribed with this rune heal an additional 2 points when they receive magical or alchemical healing

That's great to hear, I'm looking forward to it! As for suggestions of runes... A lot of my friends I play with seem to like the idea of the anime classic Wind Pressure slash- maybe a rune that allows you to use your sword to send a blade of air hurtling towards a foe to give our melee people a short-range option? Of course, it won't be better than bows or spells, but something for when they just can't close that gap.

Oops didn’t mean to post that last reply yet xD haha but yes, there will me a part of the skill tree between smithing and Runecraft for “tech” stuff. Making prosthetic limbs and robot minions and traps. But also the alchemy section will include features that focus more on “damaging” concoctions >:3 and there will also be more combat focused glyphs and runes

I'm loving the look of rune crafting so far! It's a great way to implement enchanting without it being locked to stuff like wizards... One thing I have to ask is will there be some sort of combat items option? Stuff like making bombs similar to an artificer? Maybe a smaller skill tree devoted to crafting supplementary gear designed to help other party members?
