I have similar story but mine was a set up,I'm figuring because back then my dad sent me some money for food every Friday I would wait at a Payless that had western union, and So while I was waiting sometimes I would walk next door to a book store and look in metaphysical book section in the back , well one day this guy who I had met once before through a friend had decided to go in and steal some book store checks ,and So next day I was sleeping in my car cause I didn't have a home I was living in my 78 Cadillac sedan Deville 4 door bad ass car ,well this dood who I met before wakes me up and ,chats some bullshit for a minute then asks me if I had drivers license and I said ya then he tells me he lost his and he's trying to find someone that could cash his checks if he signed them over ,I didn't dee anything wrong with helping him out well long story short this was guy who stole checks and when we went to bank he puts checks on counter and they call police cause they had reported a guy who looked like me that had stole them ,he ran out the door and I tell lady I'm going 3go see where he went and I walk to a house near by to ask if they had seen him and they say no so I walk back to bank where I left my car and immediately was surrounded by cops and arrested for forgery which I hadn't touched or signed anything but I eventually had to go to court and because I couldn't afford a lawyer I had court appointed attorney and had to plead no contest which is like guilty and such total bullshit cause I didn't do anything, I got probation and felony put on my record for nothing other than thinking I was helping some1 out ,that shit still haunts me today cause I didn't complete everything but I'm pretty sure they knew I was telling the truth and they found the other guy and supposedly admitted to the crime but I still had it on my record so I left the state cause I couldn't do anything about my life situation,,it's tough when you don't have a home and your trying to work from daily labor places that don't pay shit ,,,hey sorry I figured I should relate to your story a little cause we weren't bad people we just got stuck in a momentary lapse of reason like the pink floyd album, but I've needed to get this out in the open cause I know these days anyone can look up someone's history and if I share my story somehow it fixes thar bad day I had ,,and maybe that's what we as people need to get it off our consciousness by speaking it out there so Google will add it to the truth or whatever but we do things in life and as long as nobody gets hurt I don't think it should matter as much as they make it seem and how consequently they punish people over little things ,I'm sorry for all this crap I'm speaking here ,I'm not looking for response it just came to my mind as I was listening to this podcast thank you Joey

Joey I discovered you by chance one day on youtube talking to Rogan about the kidnapping. Ever since that story I wanted to know more. I listen to your podcasts nearly everyday since at work. That was nearly 4 years ago. Listening to you is like listening to family. Im from Jersey City so I know about alot of the stuff you talk about hell you might even know some of my family.
