I've watched too much anime for this to really be /my/ favorite animated fight ever, to be sure. But was this fight sequence the perfect way to handle the inevitable showdown between Ozai's rugrats? YES. SO PERFECT. This was the result of a creative team who knew exactly the story they were telling and how to tell it, in this moment. A high-water-mark iconic and superb moment in a series chock full of great moments.
