LIFE DRAWINGS FROM PHOTOREFERENCE #229: Longsword studies for THE CHASTE AND THE CHAINED, plus a bonus 2016 set!

So, as practice for my current revisitation of fantasy project The Chaste and the Chained, I cranked out a quick Clip Studio Paint sketch set based on various longsword-based photoref:

The crossed-wrist poses have always been a challenge for me to draw, hence the focus on such in the preceding set. (Note that you'll likely be seeing more sketch sets along these lines in the near future.)

As a bonus dealie, here's one of my earliest analog-media Life Drawing sketch sets from December of 2016: All the photos that these images were sketched from are still lurking on my aging iPad Pro's camera roll; might well revisit 'em sometime, as all of 'em are pretty interesting.
