Marines Round Up - 1

In an undisclosed base. Lance Corporal Mahoney was just doing his mundane property patrol. The base is full of supposedly historic but abandoned buildings. The buildings are located within a military compound next to some active facilities. Although the buildings are inside a fenced in area, the compound is so massive that every now and then they would get some squatters or trespassers just trying to satisfy they're adrenaline needs by breaking into a military base. The buildings being in an isolated part of the compound are just eerily quiet and empty. Every Marine MP will get his/her part of patrolling these buildings.
It was such a routine patrol for Mahoney that he just wanted to do his rounds quickly, and didn't notice a dark figure lurking at the end of the corridor as he was turning into a bigger room. The dark figure stealthily creeped closer behind Mahoney as he turned into the corridor leading to a bigger room.
With precision move, the dark figure clamped his hand over the MP's mouth and nose, clamping his nose too to make sure no sound would escape to alert others. Another hand injected a non-lethal but incapacitating dose directly into the Marine's neck artery. Within a second the Marine was out, not even giving him a chance to realize what's happening. The drug from the syringe quickly and completely took over the Marine's strong muscles rendering them powerless and useless.
