Archive Upload - "Ritual" Ghost Cover (Acoustic)

Thanks to you guys reaching the "Archive Upload" community goal, I will now be uploading unheard material every other month just for channel patrons. This link will lead to a YouTube playlist with all previous uploads as well.

In late 2017 we released an acoustic version of "Swallowing Razors" and wanted to try branching into more acoustic material to see what we could do with it. We also didn't have a drummer at the time and wanted to do something without drums while we worked on finding one. Me and Dan sat down one night with a fairly out of tune acoustic guitar and started cycling through Ghost songs that we thought would work well unplugged and ended up landing on "Ritual." We made this demo just so we wouldn't forget what ideas we had and planned on finishing it later which never ended up happening. We ended up finding a drummer soon after and started working on our regular material again. We had also planned to film a video for it on a theatre stage that I had access to, but like 3 days later I lost that job, so a lot of things didn't go as planned for this one.

This is one of my favorite Ghost songs and every time I remember that we did this I go back and listen to this and enjoy my made up on the spot backing vocal harmony ideas, so I hope despite its rough edges you guys enjoy this one too.
