Baby steps on the next page so far! But I thought I'd show it anyway.
As you can see, I've placed the sketch on the page and resized it to the correct size. Over the top I've drawn the black panel frames and gutters.
I've made the text before I finalise the art. This helps make sure I have enough room in the panel for the text. If you have no room, you have to cover up a lot of the art with the text! And I'd prefer not to do that.
It also helps to write the text during the sketch phase (even if you end up changing the text) just to make sure you're leaving room. It's better to have more than enough room, than to have no room!

Pink Pearl WIPs (commission)
Pink Pearl is a very busty superhero! If you remember a previous commission, I drew a villain named Flatline who has a ray gun that shrinks boobs! I hope Pink Pearl defeats her! I've started this commission with a few sketch and composition ideas. Capes bring lots of fun composition possibilities, so I'm leaning hard into that. We'll see what the client likes best!
