Added 2025-11-28 10:21:31 +0000 UTCOur black friday deals are now live, the discount does not need any code, simply subscribe for lifetime tier that already has the price lowered by 15%.
In order to join a Lifetime Tier, you would need to subscribe to the Tier for monthly, then after receiving your API key you can cancel the subscription and your RPDB API Key will no longer expire.
Note: For users that are already on an annual subscription, Patreon does not allow changing from annual to monthly in order to switch to lifetime, there seems to be no solution to this except creating a new Patreon account, this can be done with the same email address by adding a dot "." somewhere in your email prefix. Email providers ignore dots in email address prefixes, but Patreon will consider it a new email. I apologise for this situation, I expected Patreon to have more flexibility in regards to discounts.
This offer ends on the 2nd of December.

Due to the influx of new users from the black friday deal a service reached the credits threshold and new keys stopped being activated, this should be fixed now and all new keys should work. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

2025-11-29 01:12:10 +0000 UTCThis is unfortunately a limitation of Patreon, it does not allow moving from annual to monthly. We updated the post explaining how to make a second Patreon account with the same email to bypass this limitation. This is the only way as far as we know.
