Is this a good time to mention that I absolutely love the podcast Kill James Bond? I remember once listening to the audio commentary for an episode--not this one--that was Bruce Boxleitner, Jerry Doyle, and Claudia Christian, and Boxleitner commented on the whole Sheridan/Lockley connection. I forget his exact words but it was something to the effect of he could tell the writers were running on fumes. The Sheridan/Lockley connection does sound like something you come up with when you are really pressed for time to create new characters, which was more or less the situation with season five.
