Iain and elizabeth's natural chemistry is also what makes their dynamic so great! idk if anyone sent you or told you about it already but there is a screentest online you can watch that was done the day they met for the first time and they didn't rehearse it prior and it already felt like natural Fitz and Simmons no wonder they were the pair chosen. I'm sure when I rewatch this show way into the future (likely if I decide to edit it for the YouTube channel, but that's a huge maybe at this point), I'll notice a ton of things that I would have definitely overlooked or not thought much of during this first watch.

"We dont need space anymore..... I got a poster of space on the wall" I probably got that wrong but I couldnt stop laughing !

2025-02-14 14:13:28 +0000 UTCit was about time we got them OFFICIALLY together! we do love a good slow burn but like Jemma said they can't waste anymore time and i'm glad they finally made the choice to just be together. That scene of them is literally so cute I love them so much. I found it sweet how Fitz thought he was pushing too fast and wanted to be considerate of her but she makes it clear that shes very much ready now 🥺🥺

2025-02-14 06:52:42 +0000 UTCI didn't even remember that they mentioned a name for Hive 'cause I only ever remember them calling him Hive (and I knew he was a character in the comics). Even when they said it the first time while watching these reactions, I STILL didn't remember "Alveus" and had to have Coulson saying it and that it MEANS "hive" in Latin to have it stick in my mind. This episode was so good, especially on 1st watch but even rewatching. Any stories of paranoia and "who can you trust?" tend to be really interesting stories. They're not "fun" in the traditional sense, but I like creepy things and that's creepy. I grew up watching horror movies, but not for gore purposes, but because of creepy concepts give me the chills and that's fun.😁 As I've gotten older, my stomach for gore has gotten even weaker than it originally was, so even though I still like the creepy concepts of horror, I've been put off of watching a lot of modern horror 'cause they can gross me out.

Fitz and Simmons are finally dating. This was a milestone we’ve been waiting on since the end of the first season. Imagine having to wait two more years worth of weekly releases during the fall and spring seasons just to get to this one moment. Who would’ve thought that two academic rivals in high school who were eventually paired together would become best friends and more? And folks, take note. Fitz taught us something very important today: you make someone cry that’s not gonna fly, but if you make them smile you pass the trial. The fact that he can make Simmons laugh is all the more reason I ship them.

Looks like you might now get your wish... 😜FYI, Ward last saw Skye in 2x19, after she got her powers - prior to that it was 2x10, so Hive will know a little about her training. Something another reactor mentioned is that Daisy looks like she's enjoying herself when destroying the base - she's definitely got a smirk/grin at the end. I also like the variation of Daisy's theme that plays during that sequence - it's quite dark and foreboding, very different to the variations we've heard before. Just shows how good Bear McCreary is at creating versatile pieces of music. We also get a few cute moments in amongst the chaos: Elena, having learnt English, practising what to say to Mack when she next sees him; her actually going through with it in the middle of a rescue; Mack having learnt Spanish for her; and of course the FitzSimmons kiss!

During the first mission Daisy enters the room that Hive infects her in and she looks out the window at the Zephyr. There is a chain hanging that is not moving. When we cut to her in the room again it is directly after Hive has infected her but we don't know that yet and the show shows the chain shot again. This time the chain is swinging and that is because Hive used that chain to enter the room. It is a nice detail showing that something changed between the scenes. Daisy then uses that chain to exit the room and get to the Zephyr.

Going into it, I knew that one of the Inhumans would be 'turned' courtesy of the promo, however I was 100% convinced it wouldn't be Daisy - I'd automatically discounted her as a possibility because she's (effectively) the joint lead of the show now. They do such a good job at making all of the Inhumans look suspicious - we have Mack pointing out the explosive to Elena, Lincoln having been potentially infected in 3x15 etc., plus the idea that maybe the guy Joey killed isn't actually dead. All in all, it's especially impressive how much doubt they are able to build, because if you think about it it could *only* be Daisy - we've already seen how Malick dies in his vision, and only Daisy's powers could cause that. Once I've watched I'll see if there's anything else I want to say 😂
