I bought the original on Steam because I wanted to finish the damn game (Owned it on Wii years ago and died to the first tripwire), and then about a day later, the remake gets announced and I'm just like "Well, fuck." Glad to see I haven't fully wasted my money on an "inferior" version thanks to this review. Godspeed Johnny, and may all your coffee be hot.

I love RE4 so hearing that a darker, grittier version was "the definitive version" had me a little skeptical. Glad to know I can enjoy both for different reasons
