Gut Repair Protocol

Gut inflammation is one of the roots of all Neolithic diseases, in addition to dysfunctional mitochondria and circadian biology, malnutrition, and inflammation/oxidative stress in general. Some of these conditions consist of (not always direct cause, but a major contributing factor): inflammatory bowel diseases, such as IBD, IBS, Chron's, ulcerative colitis, MS, rheumatoid arthritis, and Hashimoto's, diverticulitis, GERD, eosinophilic esophagitis, fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, cluster headaches, migraines, ALS, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, adrenal fatigue (abnormal cortisol profile), eating disorders, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, autism spectrum disorder, cavities, heart disease, osteoporosis, obesity, gallbladder disease, and constipation/diarrhea.

Much of the systemic and neuroinflammation many people experience is typically rooted in the gut, where they are consuming inflammatory dietary triggers or have leaky gut present from diet, lifestyle and living area. I will begin to expand on how to resolve both gut inflammation and leaky gut, as they both go hand in hand and neither issue can be resolved without approaching both issues simultaneously.

Resolving the gut inflammation allows the gut to begin to repair itself, and resolving leaky gut helps to cut down on that inflammation. It's a vicious cycle. Leaky gut can also go hand in hand with SIBO and/or Candida overgrowth.

Let us review the factors that contribute to this gut inflammation and dysfunctional intestinal brush border (we'll call this the gut lining for simplicity's sake). As always, my zero-tolerance dietary framework is key here, but there are a few more additions:

The key issues with the soy, corn, and gluten/wheat are the genetic modification so the food profile no longer resembles what our ancestors had grown to become accustomed to (you can visit the respective countries of each food and have no issues eating them), so the Peyer's patches in the intestines no longer recognize these profiles and respond with immune activation (inflammation, chronic immune activation leading to autoimmunity) and the contamination with agricultural toxins, such as glyphosate and atrazine.

This protocol begins with the Solar Protection protocol to build your solar callus and vitamin D levels, both of which will begin to reduce full-body inflammation and is necessary for a healthy gut microbiome. Please review this protocol first and foremost and begin here. You will want to order a pair of blue-blocking glasses and wear them any time you are inside and/or on technology or staring at a screen. Do work to spend as little time inside as you can tolerate around your schedule. Technology field workers are most prone to gut issues for this reason.

As I mentioned recently on Twitter, there was an experiment on the Hazda people where they were fed sugar, but with their little to no time using technology and extensive time spent in the sun, there was zero gut inflammation or microbiome changes found. This isn't always possible now, especially in major cities. We can control our light environment for the most part, but the nnEMF is quite a bit trickier. Moving can be the only option if you live near any cell/television/radio towers, as this will disrupt the gut microbiome and dysfunction will never totally resolve until you do.

Coconut oil, black seed oil, magnesium chloride, androgaphis, aloe juice, and inositol can be utilized to reduce gut inflammation and correct any poor microbiome in addition to sun exposure, blue light minimization, and dietary changes.

A bottle of Aloe vera is crucial.  Not just a recreational aloe vera drink, but Lily of the Valley GALLON of aloe vera juice. Drinking around a cup or 250ml is about right. Potentially 4-5 times a day or as much as you can tolerate. This will not only clear out your entire intestinal system, it will work to rebuild and restore the whole intestinal system and to tighten those junctions again. Plus, it contains EMODIN and ALOE-EMODIN. Again with the quinine/quinone. Disinfecting all kinds of issues and junk in the system. Avoid if Chron's, intestinal blockages, or ulcerative colitis are present.

As for what you should be including, seafood and bone broth should be essential staples in any recovery protocol on a daily basis. Preferably multiple times a day, but the seafood should be one to two meals minimum. It doesn't have to be wild-caught if you can't afford to, but this is preferable. The diet should consist of quality meats (grass-fed/grass-finished and pasture-raised preferably, eggs (if you tolerate them, low butyrate-producing bacteria is typically the cause of intolerance), seafood/bivalves or shellfish, organ meats (liver, heart, kidney, brain, etc.), properly prepared leafy greens, sprouts, and fruits (only if you tolerate them as they can contribute to inflammation if the gut is sensitive, and if SIBO is present, the fruits should be eliminated for a period), yams/sweet potatoes/white or brown rice/beets for complex carbs (again, low carb can be necessary to resolve SIBO). These foods will cover your micronutrient needs and if you don't tolerate the leafy greens, they can be included in your homemade bone broth to add to the nutrition content profile. You can use an app like Cronometer to track your intake and make adjustments where necessary.

Next, is including the probiotic-rich foods, such as kefir (goat preferably), yogurt, kimchi, sauerkraut, non-soy miso, natto, beet kvass, etc. This is to nourish the gut microbiome with healthy bacteria and to reduce inflammation as well. The more, the better, but start with them individually and see how you feel.

Labs/medical tests to review for leaky gut/SIBO/Candida overgrowth...

Latter three to assess inflammation in the body. Or just simply biofeedback. A rash reaction from an herbal medicine with anti microbial properties would suggest leaky gut/SIBO, for example. Bloating and gut pain after consuming trigger foods is another biofeedback indication.

Low HDL cholesterol, low vitamin D, low folate and B12, low hormone levels, altered magnesium/sodium/potassium levels, high HS-CRP, high serum ferritin, high cytokine levels, high homocysteine, and a missing gallbladder would suggest leaky gut.

If issues still persist, please see the Gut Cleanse Protocol.

As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I will be posting the Memory Protocol tomorrow after I put on some finishing touches.
