Work begun: "Sniper's Moonshine"
Added 2022-09-25 13:52:39 +0000 UTCHi guys. 🖐
First and foremost: I am extremely sorry for the long radio silence. Even though my schedule didn't allow me to make any new Gmod project, I should have at least communicated more with everyone here. But I've finally found some free time now (not sure for how long but at least it should be without interruption).
I recently started working on a new gmod video. The title will very likely be "Sniper's Moonshine".
I just finished a v1 of the animatic which is roughly 1min30 without end credits.
The quality should be on par with "Demo tells a joke", with additional goals:
_Try out Eltorro's new merc models (especially Pyro's which is an absolute GODsend from what I tested).
_Try out the newest version of SMH which apparently allows for animating the body and face separately (in theory, haven't tried it just yet)
_Experiment with AI generated voices (Uberduck in this specific case)
_Start learning a bit of Blender (potentially for some minor VFX)
_Apply my new professional experience in a Gmod animation (Especially after my work on a feature film)
Do you wish for me to post here the full animatic so you could have an idea for the full thing and share your opinion, or just a short fragment (like the beginning for example) to avoid spoilers?
Sincerely
Gray.

2022-11-07 03:58:29 +0000 UTCHey, welcome back! It’s fine, take as much time to yourself as you need, but it’s good to hear from you again. Small fragments seems a good idea, not the full thing (until maybe later on in the development process, perhaps) that shows areas you’d want some ideas, or perhaps just wanted to share to see the general reaction to it, or maybe even to ask how this feels pace wise or the animation feel.
