We’re excited to share the results from a recent survey we conducted, which many of you participated in. Thanks to your incredible support, we received an impressive 400 responses! This rich dataset offered valuable insights and helps us better understand our community. Here’s a breakdown of what we learned:
Who are you?
When it comes to age, most of you (36.3%) fall into the 36-45 age group, followed closely by 34.5% in the 26-35 range. A lot of you expected 2020 to resemble the futuristic world of Cyberpunk 2020—a shared sentiment that made us smile too!

Where are you from?
Over 40% of respondents live in the USA, while more than 35% hail from Europe. The rest of you represent regions across the globe, making our community as diverse as it is passionate.
How do you find us?
Nearly 50% of you discovered your favorite creators, UNIT9, through MyMiniFactory, while almost 30% found them via Patreon, and a little over 20% through the Human Interface website. Social media was less of a factor, accounting for just around 10%.

How long have you been with us?
Roughly 30% of you have been part of our community for 1-2 years, and another 30% have been with us for 3-4 years. Around 15% are newer members, and we’re thrilled to have you on board—it’s always the perfect time to join. Thank you for trusting and supporting us. We promise, the best is yet to come!

Your favorite UNIT9 books:
Half of you have engaged with the Rulebook, while 36-38% enjoy our Artbooks and monthly magazine. We should focus more on other materials?
How do you use our books?
Your engagement habits are evenly split. Half of you prefer to read books cover to cover, while others use them for inspiration or simply enjoy their beautiful design.

What formats do you prefer?
Standalone novels are a clear favorite (64%), followed by comics (57%) and short stories (54%). It’s heartening to see that reading remains such a beloved pastime—keep it up!
What types of stories do you enjoy?
World-building stories and stories about heroes are your top picks (65%), closely followed by action and military themes (45%-58%). Looks like we’ve got some exciting work ahead to bring you more gripping stories!

What kind of e-books do you usually print?
37% of you occasionally print rulebooks, while 24% do decisions about printing are rarely made and are often dependent on the content. This feedback inspires us to focus on creating high-quality, engaging materials worth printing.
Would you buy physical materials for Human Interface: Proxy War?
Almost 40% of you would consider purchasing the Rulebook, while 30% said you’d grab everything. This has encouraged us to seriously explore offering print-on-demand versions—what do you think?
