Could Scientists Design the Perfect Religion?

I had a blast working with Jeremy (my friend and editor) on this project! Unfortunately, I think I botched the original thumbnail because this video is performing extremely poorly right now. People seem to like it once they watch it, so the video will likely grow, but it is a little discouraging. Thank you guys for the support this month. I’ll have a patrons-only preview of my next video posted before the night is up. ❤️

Could Scientists Design the Perfect Religion?

Nice way to put it, I guess all things somehow evolve...For one thing I can see it rapidly in software development industries... Usually most people believe that new programming languages or tools get introduced because some person had spare time and did it for whatever reasons, but I beg to differ...also in software development tools are introduced to meet needs that weren't accounted for in existing tools, and this is how they respond to selection pressures: mutation and replication: tools usually start from a basic structure built from existing tools and provide easy to use interfaces. Speciation: newly introduced tools provide functionalities not found in existing tools. So it evolves and responds to the needs of the industry. That's my take, although might not be rock solid...so in that fashion I entertain the idea that most (or all actually) things are subject to a mechanism similar to natural selection

Thanks, Drew. Well thought out video. Religions do evolve. Religious people of just a few hundred years ago would laugh at the concept of a "personal relationship with god". Your boy-band hair is coming along great. The battle of the beards between Eric and Thomas was very interesting.
