Update on my health

Hello everyone,

I have good news: Since my last update, I've taken two weeks off to recover from the burnout and shutdown earlier this month. It hasn't been easy, but I've managed to stabilize my health and I feel ready to work on stuff again.

Typically when it comes to burnout and especially a shutdown I experienced, it's due to long-term stress and lack of self care, which is as much of a mental problem as it is a physical one. Mentally speaking, I'm feeling a lot better than I used to, but physically there was always something that kept draining my energy. Anxiety, fear, anger, pain. I would feel that on the regular and it became apparent that something else was wrong and I now know why:

I most likely have NCGS (non-gluten celiac sensitivity), IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) or celiac disease.

For most of my life I kept eating normal food that actually upset my gut, but I thought that it was normal to suffer from cramps, pain, anxiety and stool problems and suffered in silence. My upset gut would affect my mental state, which caused these sudden mood swings that I would have "out of nowhere". That compounded with my unsustainable work habits, poor mental health and inconsistent posting, would make it harder for me to open up about my problems. The fix for this is to simply switch my diet now, which I am doing.

I hope by now you understand that this isn't an excuse to not post anything, but me attempting to be more open and honest about what is going on behind the scenes.

Thanks for your comment and I'm sorry to hear. I'm still learning about nutrition, so this will take some time. I've been cultivating a relaxing environment and am shutting out negative influences one by one. I'm cautiously optimistic with how things are going to develop. Thank you for the support! c:

thanks for sharing your thoughts rather than just keeping silence Im also suffering from IBS, so every time i do first thing is when i go someplace else is figure out where the restroom is located lol anyway hope the diet will help a lot to manage with that matters my little tip is If you've had a stress from something try relieve it during break time soon as possible
