Hi everyone!
A small update — yes, unfortunately, we didn’t quite manage to finish everything by the end of the month, so the release is delayed by one more week.
But here’s the great news: at the beginning of June, we officially welcomed a new team member — Sam Walsh— who’s now leading the story development for the game. Sam is the best game designer we could’ve hoped to bring on board, and he’s already working on a big introduction post covering the story launch and transition from the tech demo to full version 1.0.
(Also, fun fact: he’s one of the co-writers of the script — so he’s definitely not going to disappear halfway through the game’s development. He’s in it till the end.)
We’ve had many meetings with him, made a ton of critical changes before launching 1.0, and even though it means version 0.6 will be delayed until next weekend, the things we’ve already accomplished under his direction honestly blew us away (in a good way!).
This whole month, we’ve also been working behind the scenes on version 1.0 — characters, locations, code, voice acting, and more. We're doing our absolute best to make sure the big release at the end of July will be truly exciting for you all!
What Sam’s bringing to the table is something that might just take adult games to a whole new level.
And hey — if we manage to finish the build earlier than next weekend, we’ll release it right away!
