Otter Chat: Raffle Winner, and Things Upcoming!

Once again, thank you all for joining this page! When I first made it, I never anticipated nearly this response, especially what I have seen this week. Without further ado, I would like to announce that Amanda Amethyst has won the story raffle! 

I would also like to announce that the prize is going to be 2,000 words minimum, not 1k like I originally wrote. Realized this week that what I was offering was... well, too small to do most ideas justice. Same goes for upper tier Patron rewards. Nobody is doing anything there just yet, but I quadrupled the monthly word count the top two tiers are going to come with. Anyone deciding to Dive the Depths is going to be getting a minimum of a full story chapter from me each month. Maybe more, if I like the idea a lot and keep pushing. Given that a lot of what I write is "this is cool" and got out of hand, that's not exactly low odds.

I am considering increasing the price of my bottom tier to $2-3 after someone pointed out Patreon's fee schedule to me. Simply put, right now they are taking nearly a third of what you all are donating, mostly through flat transaction fees on the dollar donors. I will be adding more benefits to make up for it, definitely including monthly raffle access going forward. 

Couple more things to add today. First, Master PC seems the clear winner for the next Mind Control story I will be writing. MPC: Repercussions is going to do something a hair different than I thought I was originally going to, but I'm pretty sure you are all going to love it. 

In addition, I received an unexpected email back from CorruptingPower. When I said I didn't have permission to write in the Quaranteam Universe, it looks like I just jumped the gun a bit. He has now given that permission, along with a few world notes to make sure what I write is going to stay in line with his vision of the world. Once I plan things out properly (including reading and rereading those notes), you all will see the results way before the general public. I plan for that to be another monthly release unless I get a lot of demand.

Last detail. In The Mirror's WIP chapters are coming up to a point in its timeline that I will have to sit and wait for a bit. This is in order to allow AiLovesToGrow time to get her own Book 2 forward in the timeline, enough so that I'm not spoiling things she wanted to do first. Regular readers will not notice a pause, since that is around chapter 50 of my tale. My other stories will be getting that attention, along with work on publishing In The Mirror's eBook.
