Patreon Page Changes + February 2021 Patreon Exclusive Update Vlog

As you may have heard, on January 1st of this year, I announced my retirement from content creation on YouTube. I'd like to thank you all for your kind messages and comments regarding my decision! I have no regrets about choosing to do this, and I'm continuing to work on my music. Several of you have asked if I'll continue to be using this Patreon page, and after a bit of deliberation, my answer is yes!
I'll be switching this page's payment structure from a per-creation basis to a monthly basis. This means that whatever amount you are currently pledged with on this Patreon page will be billed to you one per month, regardless of how many videos I may upload. Since I am no longer maintaining an upload schedule or planning to upload very many videos to YouTube, this change will allow anyone who wants to support me to do so, without requiring me to produce a certain amount of content. Any videos that I may incidentally upload will not affect this monthly pledge rate (though I will continue to share them on Patreon!)
If you'd like to change your pledge amount or remove your pledge since I will no longer be providing several of the special rewards associated with this page in the past, you are more than welcome to do so! The Patron-only Discord channel will continue to exist.
In addition, I've decided to resume monthly Patron-only update vlogs. In these vlogs, I'll be sharing things that are going on related to my music and life that have happened in the past month, will happen in the next month, and things that I am looking forward to in the future. This will be the best way to stay updated with my current professional music work. Due to privacy and non-disclosure-agreements, I will not be able to talk in detail about every project I'm involved in, but I'll do my best to share what I can share whenever I can share it. If you'd like an example of what this vlog looks like, February's edition is already uploaded and attached to this post!

There was an audible sense of relief in your voice in that "retirement" video. The whole jiggalig about being a YouTuber, all the mental overhead with the algorithm and building up subscriber count and other stuff that isn't about the *music*, sounds exhausting. I'm impressed that you kept up with it for, what, nine years? and kept putting out excellent music week in and week out. Seems like it has all served a good purpose in leading you to the next phase of your career! Congrats on the new projects!
