Sneak Peeks, Plans & Updates for the Week of January 19!

Hello, hello, Patrons! With a new year underway and lots of stuff percolating behind the scenes, it's time once again to lock-the-fuck-in and bring you all more regular status updates!

I've been a busy little bee getting all sorts of things ready. Throughout 2025, I spent months commissioning new original scripts, some highly requested sequels, commissioning lots of art, and generally freshening up the joint. Regular audio production wasn't in the cards for much of last year due to circumstances outside my control, but I did everything I could to prepare for 2026. If all goes to plan, it’s going to be a BIG year with lots of original stuff in store!

Let's have a look at some of what's coming down the pipeline, in no particular order...

💝 New goodies for the main channel 💝

It's a new year, and that means NEW STUFF!! I have lots of nifty things planned this year and I can’t wait to share them with you! One thing I’ll be focusing on is a return to regular community posts on YouTube. Here’s what’s in store on that front!

• 🔦“Series Spotlight”🔦 Every Sunday, a post featuring a Vanilla Velvet Audio series!

• 📺 “Worth It Watch” 📺 Every Wednesday, highlighting an amazing audio/ASMR channel I think deserves your attention!

And of course, a new audio planned for every Friday!

Please note: “Worth It Watch” Wednesdays will not be paid promotions, coordinated cross promos, done on request or anything like that. I plan to be totally unaffiliated with the channels I’ll feature (except maybe plugging Juniper and/or Juniper Justice Bro eventually?) No payola here! Just good stuff from talented people that I think you'll like. Old channels, new ones, active creators, or those currently on haitus.

I don't know when these posts will launch exactly; there are a lot of ducks to finish putting in rows (making graphics, queuing stuff, etc.) but they're on the menu!

• A ton of commissioned art pieces queued up for Patron eyes only! I've got at least one new piece scheduled monthly through July, with enough art to last until well into 2027! I'll be focusing on queuing more over the next couple of weeks so I don't have to think about it for the rest of the year. Look forward to some sweet art, some spicy, but all worth your while, I hope! ^^

Other Behind the Scenes Stuff...

I've intentionally budgeted for several original script commission slots every month this year, and engaged a bunch of amazing writers we all know and love.

As 2026 wear on, I'll continually reassess how much space I have in the schedule for original stuff and if I have to trim the budget anywhere. (Gotta allow for sudden equipment failure and other unexpected channel expenses, after all!)

There are a LOT of full length original series scripts cooking right now, most of which will clock in at 45-60 minutes when complete. I think I'll be focusing on commissioning a few more one-shots for a bit, just to round out the schedule.

As for those long series, I'm still deciding if I want to space out shorter episodic releases or continue doing long audios in one go, and trying to figure out how to maintain heftier, regular production work without burning out. Last year was messy and, while 2025's disasters were -- again -- mostly outside my control, I want to avoid a replay of that this year.
