New Video Intro Screens!

You might remember I talked about planning new video intros, so, sooooo many months ago. In late spring/early summer 2025, I commissioned an artist to create some original art pieces for that. I sent her some pretty detailed briefs, and boy did she deliver!

I've been meaning to post them for ages, but I kept procrastinating on adding the animated overlays, logos, etc. But as I've been slowly whittling away at my massively out of control to-do list the past few weeks, I finally got off my duff and finished 'em! Yay!

Now I can share them with you. I'm excited to show them off!

I've included the full briefs + inspiration images I sent to Ezblossom on vgen as well, just so you can see how well she nailed it!

NOTE: Unfortunately, I don't have proper image credits for the references I used in the briefs. Most are from anime wallpaper sites and didn't have any! I think, being that they're just low res references to explain the commission process -- i.e. educational purposes -- they should be fair use, though. If I do find credits, I'll be sure to edit 'em in at a later date.

Intro for December - February

The Brief + Inspo: Day or night. Pale blue + white color scheme. Snowy background, twinkly fairy lights optional. Hair down, wearing a white coat, pale pink scarf, white hat.

Intro for March - May

The Brief + Inspo: Daytime. Blue + purple color scheme. Hair down. Wearing a pale blue buttoned sweater with white collared shirt underneath, and a white headband. Holding a clear umbrella in one hand, smiling a little, rainy + floral background.

Intro for June - August

The Brief + Inspo: Evening or night. Green forest color scheme preferred, but sunset/dark blue night sky is fine too! Wearing a white sun dress, hair in ponytail with small white bow. Small red heart shaped buttons on dress, red heart shaped earrings. View from above or side, she’s lying on her back in the grass, flowers, fireflies all around.

Autumn...

Intro for September - November

The Brief + Inspo: There are two options for this one, I’ll let you choose which you’d prefer to do!

1.) Day. Orange + red color scheme. Hair in bun, wearing a white or cream colored sweater with heart shaped cut out, under autumn leaves. Gold heart shaped earrings. She can be doing any of these things: reading a book, holding a cup of coffee, reaching out to touch a falling leaf or monarch butterfly.

2.) Night. Orange + red color scheme. Hair in bun, gold heart shaped earrings, wearing a one-piece retro-style swimsuit OR wearing a white towel, soaking in a hot spring, autumn leaves all around.

Most of the art needed to be flipped to make room for where the logo will go in the FINAL final versions, but luckily they hold up just fine! I'm really happy with the finished product; they'll be a great brand refresh.

Final Notes...

I originally intended to launch these this past fall. Obviously, that didn't happen! ^^; But that's okay. Instead, they'll debut in the first video of January, and run at least through 2026, changing seasonally. The plan is for them to last a good long while, hopefully. I may even expand the roster down the line as I can afford more commissions in the same style -- Monthly? Add some holidays? I dunno! Ultimately I haven't decided yet. We'll see!
