Oddtober #1: Containment Tanks
Added 2021-10-01 21:34:56 +0000 UTCFollowing a distress signal to Sigma C-17, a lonely planetoid in the Outer Fringe, First Lieutenant Blyse and his detachment made planetfall onto the barren surface. Finding the entrance to a neutral civilian research bunker, Blyse and his crew breached the sturdy doors, entering a seemingly empty subterranean complex. In the dim light of a laboratory, they came upon a pair of chrome-plated containment tubes affixed to a bulky console. One of the tanks had ruptured, a thick ichor-like slime running down into the control panels and slowly dripping through the grated flooring into the dark chamber below. As a faint, wet, slopping noise caught his ear, Blyse drew his particle-pistol, spinning to meet whatever had made the sound....
This is the first post of our "Oddtober" event! Every odd day (up through Halloween), we'll be releasing some models following a sci-fi horror theme (all following a light narrative), adding them to the $5+ reward folder as we go.
For this first post, we've got some containment tank scatter terrain. The non-breached version should print well support-free via FDM, but the breached version will need light supports.
