Weekly Update - 31st of May

Hey friends!

Doing this early, UK-time, to ensure I do it with my fullest energy, haha.

Firstly, shit's going fucking great. 7k on Monday, 8.5k on Tuesday, 7.5k on Wednesday and Thursday. This is without changing my routine, no extra work, nice healthy work-life balance. Which in theory should mean this is sustainable, so that I don't collapse into the exhaustion state again, haha. 8.5k is the ideal really, but I imagine it'll get easier to do as time goes on.

Secondly, I have therapy today so no guarantee that today is a good work day - always makes me feel a bit weird and spacey - but I will of course attempt to do my best. In fact, because of a shift in writing habits (mainly how many words per day I do for my perma-commission dealio) I theoretically will have very easy Fridays - which I hope to use for doing a bit extra (compared to the other days of the week) towards backburner tings and paid stories.

Anyway, some numbers:

The New Girl is sitting at 4k. 1k a day is working great.

Anubis #2 (title pending) is also at 4k. Same as above. This series probably won't be super long but it's going to be fun all the same. Glad I've done it how I have.

Coach Kyln is at 1.5k. Backburner means I do 500 words when I can, so far that was only on Tuesday - I did 1k last Friday, and will do that today if I get the chance.

Hellhound (Paid) #2 is at 6.5k. 1.5k per day is the aim, 2k if I can manage it. Should allow for a release every other week! It's knots of fun. Hah. Terrible.

All of these began this week, except Kyln, which I started last Friday. So I'd say shit's going pretty good, and things will be regular from now on!

I'm going to throw up some polls on Monday. Because I'm kind of axing "monthly" things - not to say I won't have releases each month, but fuck deadlines yo - and because there will always be a pause between storylines (to ensure variety/avoid the tyranny of the majority every time) I'll make sure to always know what I'm moving onto next without having to wait. And then I'll post polls again once I have finished the current ones, etc.

Anyway, infodump over. All is good. Once I've settled into this, I'm going to get in touch with the people who have made commission requests, and get those moving. But at the very least, the smut train be rollin'.
