So. Where to begin?

Right. Last month was a bit rough. I wanted to get three chapters ahead of the SV thread by the time arc 10 got released publicly, and maybe I would have, too. It was certainly looking that way.

And then...

I think I mentioned to you guys before about two months ago that two of my aunts and one of my uncles all got sick. Not with Covid, small mercy though that is, but one my aunts had her appendix burst, the other had brain cancer, and my uncle had throat cancer. All diagnosed within the same few days.

About four weeks ago, one of those aunts died. In her sleep, as I understand it. I guess her cancer treatments just weren't effective enough. Two weeks ago, early in the morning on Monday, June 29, the other aunt had a massive heart attack and died, and just...

I wasn't sure how that would affect my writing. I expected it might set me back a week or so - and it did - and by the time I realized it had, I just wanted to get back into the swing of things and put off letting you guys know so I could try and finish 10.c as quickly as I could, and before I realized it, it had been another week and...

So that's why I didn't say anything before. I'll let you guys know more immediately from now on, but hopefully there won't be any more...family tragedies, let's say, that I have to worry about.
