I've been talking with my editor about it, and he seems certain that reconciling these two realities is a herculean effort that won't pay off, in the end. To some extent, I can understand his point, because when we discussed it, there were some seriously difficult hurdles to overcome to make it work that haven't been overcome, yet.
But I'm game to try, eventually. Maybe after Essence has finished, if I don't immediately start on something original, like Serenity's VN or Project Nietzsche.
Anyway. For now, it's just the first chapter, and only about a page of it, too.
