Added 2018-09-25 10:02:14 +0000 UTCSo, my editor and I have been playing the Discord equivalent of phone tag for the past week or so, which is why it took a little longer to finish this. I couldn't pin him down until about twelve hours ago, and the minute I did, I sat down to finish this chapter.
As for the chapter itself, we're getting back into the action. An actual fight. Not as big or as bombastic a one as the Lung fight, but closer than Oni Lee or Bakuda were.
I don't know if it was just me, but Noelle's plan felt pretty clever, here. But your mileage may vary.
Next chapter... I'm not sure. I know how it ends, but since Taylor will have to spend most of it on the sidelines, I'm not sure exactly how it will wind up reading. The good thing is, since I do have a little momentum on the next four-ish chapters, they should hopefully be much easier to write.

For a given value of clever, anyway, considering how off-her-nut Noelle is, but yeah. Though what the hell did she think she could accomplish by absorbing/cloning Apocrypha, I have no idea.
