Last Week's Blues
Added 2018-08-14 12:08:59 +0000 UTCReal talk? I don't know what happened, last week. It wasn't like there was anything particularly exciting going on or something came up that took up all my time, I just felt so tired for some reason. Lethargic and exhausted, for no apparent reason. Maybe my utterly ass-backwards sleeping schedule just finally caught up to me? I don't know. I just spent the entire week in a malaise, where I didn't want to do much of anything. I didn't want to play video games, alone or with my usual friend group, I didn't want to write, I just...didn't.
I got some writing done. Not a lot, by my usual standards, but some. Mostly in the upcoming Pendulum 0.0 that will be coming a few chapters from now. I played the FGO Summer event, too, but, uh, that's not really...FGO isn't the same kind of video game as Destiny or Nier Automata or Warframe, so it's not the same. It doesn't require the same level of...investment doesn't feel like the right word, but it's the only one I have, right now.
So that's why there was no chapter, this week. Hopefully, I can get back into things, now, and have a chapter ready for this Saturday, because I'm feeling a lot better than I did a few days ago. Just wish I understood what that was all about.
Yeah. That was a thing, guys. Hopefully, this week will be better.
Also, this, a retweet from My Name is Byf (who you may have heard of):
Patreon is currently having payment issues. If you are a patron that uses a credit card, please check w/ your bank to approve the charge as non-fraud or update your payment method. Many of the creators I know have had 30-50% of their income essentially deleted, myself included
So for those of you whose pledges were declined for the August cycle, this is likely why. I was hoping Patreon would take care of it themselves and things would go back to normal, but since it seems like they didn't, I'll have to put the burden on you guys.
