{ space tier+ } general update 04.02.24

it's been a good while since i've updated this page, and i'd like to apologize for that! march was a month that i took to have quite a bit of downtime after the blitz that january and february felt like for me.

to catch y'all up, after finishing the script and audio for Part 3, i decided i would, in any case, take march a little easier to just decompress before actually going into the editing proper; that, and, i have some assets i'd like to prepare anyway before i get into the actual editing itself. however, i got hit with the loss of one of my pets literally right as the month started, and that was a good cue for me to take the downtime a little more seriously and just not work on much of anything and spend more time with people IRL and just in general.

since then, i've also had a lot of emotional/personal stuff resurface that i'm sorting out mentally still, but i'm easing into a little better as of recently. needless to say, a lot has happened behind the scenes for me, and it was a good call for me to just drop the content brain for a moment and focus on being a Person for a bit.

however, i'm back on the grind of things! i am still focusing on maintaining a balance between content and just Being a Person, but i'm now feeling refreshed enough to tackle the Big Stuff again, it seems. i did two streams, actually in the past week! one of them was a Fatal Gang YNO stream that was pretty chill, and the other was...something that happened and screamed itself into existence on April Fools. i don't think there's much of a way to describe the contents of that stream other than me just saying that it really speaks for itself so take a look at that if you're interested in whatever goofs and gaffs i got up to. (also, that April Fools stream gets LOUD at a lot of points so warning for that, seriously, i don't think i've ever had my audio that fucked up before for a shitpost.)

with that all done though, that just leaves me to finally, get back on the grindset and start work on Part 3 proper. frankly, i have no idea how the process for this one will go. i have to approach this less like one big video and more like several Average Length videos from me, and the main thing is i just don't know how long it will take. however, the longer i stall, the longer we All have to wait, so i may as well just bite the bullet and get on with it so that we get just ever so closer to seeing this series through to its end! aside from that, i'm also starting to get back into music, and even am starting to latch onto stuff in that regard again after what's felt like years of struggling to keep my focus on Anything outside of really small loops/samples for other stuff. so, there's gonna be a lot of noise here again very soon!

as i'll be preparing the assets for Part 3, and also doing more music and editing, expect more sneak peeks at star tier especially, and possibly even higher tiers if i decide to also bounce between Part 3 and personal project stuff. i'm hoping that from here on, i can maintain a balance between doing all this work, but also making more time for myself and for leisure/hanging out with people so that i'm fulfilled both creatively and emotionally, so idk how it'll go, but i'm hoping to just have a nice, chill time working on everything. i may be eager to finish Part 3 before any major developments with DR pop up, but i don't want to rush either. i know y'all have been waiting for this one for a long time, and i've been waiting for even longer than that. so, i want to make this video really count and make it as good as i can make it, but of course, without setting completely impossible standards for myself. just...a little higher than usual, but i think i can manage.

tl;dr, i'm alive, and i'm doing alright, and i just needed a little break after some personal stuff came up, but i'm getting back into the swing of things. more to come soon, and of course, as always thank you all for your support and patience <3 it genuinely means a ton.
